Gwyneth Paltrow has touched down in Sydney ahead of her appearance at an event with radio royalty Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
The Marvel star turned wellness entrepreneur, 51, was photographed makeup-free as she walked though the international airport terminal on Friday morning, wearing black sunglasses, a khaki jacket, beige pants and white sneakers.
Paltrow was all-smiles despite the dreary weather and long-haul flight, as she headed for a waiting car parked out the front.
The Goop founder’s arrival comes just hours ahead of her starring role at the launch of Henderson’s new business venture, Besties, with an event taking place at the Aware Super Theatre Friday night.
Besties, which was founded by the KIIS FM co-host and her best friend Gemma O’Neill, was created as a “space that gives you and your BFF the perfect opportunity to spend more time with each other”, through events, holidays and products.
Paltrow is the keynote speaker for Besties’ first ever event, with the Iron Man actress saying in a statement in July: “Sharing stories with other women is one of my favourite things to do. It bonds us, lifts us all up and lets us celebrate what makes us all special. I’m so looking forward to coming to Australia with besties to do just that.”
Speaking on Sunrise at the time of the announcement, Henderson said Paltrow was at the top of her list for her debut event.
“She was number one on my list, I wanted to approach her first because I have always loved Gwyneth,” she said.
Henderson continued: “I think she will just be a really fascinating guest because she has built this incredible empire with Goop.
“She has had an incredible Hollywood career, she has won Oscars and she has a personal life we are fascinated with.
“She is incredibly transparent and open in her interviews. So it’s going to be a really fun evening.”

It’s not the first time Henderson and Paltrow will be meeting, with Kyle Sandilands claiming the three of them had dinner together in New York.
“That evening that we had with her was great because she made us feel like we were her friends and she already knew us. I loved that about her,” Henderson said.
Paltrow jetted down under solo for the brief work trip, with husband Brad Falchuk remaining at their home in the US.
